About me
Hi, thank you for accessing my page, it’s an honour you’re here as it’s a very brave step to take.
I am Tracy, I have a B.A (hons) in Counselling and I am a qualit Clinical Supervisor, I am also a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
I’ve worked in a variety of services from GP surgeries to primary schools, bereavement service and Private Practice as well as multiple EAP organisations. I am also a director of Arcus LGBT+ CIC, providing online and in-person (in certain areas) general counselling to the LGBT+ community and those who are allies to the community.
My clients range from Children and Young People to Adults, Neurotypical as well as those of us who I like to call Neuro-Spicy.
I have lived experience of being neurospicy – ADHD is my spice, I also have physical life limiting conditions so can relate to those whose lives have to adapt and manage their lives in a world that isn’t easy.
Being a Clinical Supervisor also gives me the opportunity to work with other counsellors both qualified and in-training.
I am also a Creative Counsellor/Clinical Supervisor as I believe sometimes we don’t have the words to express our thoughts so bringing creativity into the therapeutic or supervisory space can give a completely different and sometimes missed perspective.
I believe you need to feel a connection with your therapist/supervisor and that is something you can feel within the initial chat so I’m happy to arrange a chat with you to see if we fit.
If you’d like to chat please email me: yourgentlethoughts@gmail.com
